Strengthening Child Protection Systems Through Collaboration

Child Protection Global Network (CPGN) is a New York–based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to strengthening the safety, protection, and well-being of children. We believe every child deserves to grow up in an environment where their rights are respected, their voices are heard, and the systems around them are equipped to protect them from harm. Our work is guided by collaboration, responsible action, and a commitment to building stronger child protection systems.

Who We Are

CPGN is a public charity working to support stronger and more responsive approaches to child protection. Based in the United States, we recognize that challenges affecting children and families exist across communities and countries. We work to strengthen the people, institutions, and systems responsible for protecting children while promoting awareness, cooperation, and responsibility around child safety.

Our Story

CPGN was created in response to the continuing need for stronger, more coordinated child protection systems. The Child Maltreatment 2024 report recorded 532,228 child victims of abuse or neglect in the United States and an estimated 1,773 child deaths from maltreatment. These figures highlight the importance of prevention, early intervention, and stronger collaboration to keep children's safety and well-being at the center.

Our Approach

Our approach is built around collaboration, prevention, evidence-informed practices, and shared responsibility. CPGN believes protecting children requires families, communities, professionals, institutions, and decision-makers to work together. We support approaches that respond to real community needs, respect local knowledge, and contribute to sustainable improvements in child protection.

CPGN is committed to transparency, responsible governance, ethical practices, and careful stewardship of the resources entrusted to the organization. Child Protection Global Network Inc. is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) public charity under IRC Section 170(b)(1)(A)(vi), with federal tax-exempt status effective from August 29, 2024.

We value meaningful partnerships with communities, professionals, institutions, donors, advocates, and organizations that share a commitment to protecting children and strengthening child protection systems.
